Derek has resided in the Kitsap area since 1975. He graduated from North Kitsap High School and began his career in the retail grocery business. He spent 27 years building his skills in customer service, employee training and management.
In 2016, Derek took these skills and moved into the Cannabis Industry starting as a part- time Budtender and progressing to Store Manager. He has earned his Certified Medical Marijuana Consultant Certificate which allows him the skills to better help the patients who have found cannabis as the answer to their medical needs.
Derek brings all of his acquired skills to High Point Cannabis where he heads up the team to respectfully bring legal marijuana to the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe.
